Libertarian ideas to stimulate the economy

Check out a Libertarian’s approach to economic stimulus.  Jeffrey A. Miron is senior lecturer in economics at Harvard University; he offers a plan based on these key points:

  • Key rule of stimulus plan should be: first, do no harm
  • Repeal the corporate income tax, raise retirement age
  • Avoid “buy American” rules and back free trade
  • Government shouldn’t make it easier for unions to organize
