You heard us on Tax Day, then on Independence Day, and on Labor Day.  On September 12th, you heard us in Washington D.C. Now you’ll hear us on Sunday, November 1st just in time for Election Day!

The Southern Monmouth County/Northern Ocean County Tea Party, a grass-roots non-partisan community group and member of NJ Tea Parties United, invites you to join us for a Pre-Election Tea Party from 12 Noon to 3pm at John F. Johnson Jr. Memorial Park (Johnson Park) on Kierych Memorial Drive in Jackson, NJ.  This is a non-partisan event and will feature informational speakers on a variety of topics, as well as a live band, activities and a voter registration drive.

Americans today are tightening budgets and saving every penny, while government continues on a spending spree.  New Jersey residents are saddled with double-digit deficits and some of the highest taxes in the nation. And the number of jobless in NJ is at its highest ever since 1977.  It’s time to stand up and put principles above party.  Come to the tea party and meet other citizens who share in your same concerns.  Hear from Constitutional speakers, sound fiscal policy advocates, medical doctors, and citizen patriots. Be informed before you vote!

Speakers & Activities:

Tabitha Hale, Host of Raisin Hale from Take That! Radio Productions, proprietor of Pink Elephant Pundit, and Director of New Media for Smart Girl Politics.  Most recently just joined as an activist with FreedomWorks.

Steve Lonegan, Former Bogota mayor & former NJ gubernatorial candidate; Director of Americans for Prosperity NJ chapter.

Reverend Dr. Hugh MacKenzie, Constitutional Speaker, teacher of “The 5000 Year Leap”.  Join us on Mondays at 7:00pm in November for A Discussion Group on the Federal Constitution with Dr. MacKenzie.

Diana Reimer, Tea Party Patriots National Leadership Council & PA State Coordinator. Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots Organizer. View video of Diana speaking at the 912 March on Washington this past September.

Bill Haney, 912 Project Burlington County organizer, and one of several parents’ rights advocates organizing actions against the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ over the controversial video that exposes the school’s inappropriate use of politics (and religion) in the classroom. The school produced a performance of elementary school students singing a song that includes chants of “Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Barack Hussein Obama” and reuse of a verse from the song “Jesus Loves the Little Children” to liken Obama to “Jesus”.

Fredy Lowe, also one of several parents’ rights advocates organizing actions against the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ over the controversial video that exposes the school’s inappropriate use of politics (and religion) in the classroom.

“Manly Rash”, prominent conservative (and very witty) blogger and proprietor of Manly’s Republic.  In his full Continental Army garb, “Colonel” Manly Rash is also a living reminder of the hard battles fought by our founding fathers to give us the liberty and freedom that we still fight to protect today.

Strictly 60’s Band, a band from NJ dedicated to preserving the music of the 60’s, will perform live music for the event.

Hi Caliber, rap artist with conservative views (also known as “Mr. Conservative”), will perform live at the event as well.  You may have seen him perform at the 912 March on Washington.  Or, you can check him out here in his performance of Patriotic People in “Tea Party: the Documentary Film“.

Voter Registration Drive, Smart Girl Politics will be onsite conducting a voter registration drive, in commemoration of Susan B Anthony registering to vote. At a time when women did not have the right to vote, Susan B Anthony voted in the Presidential election on November 5, 1872 and was arrested four days later.  She was found guilty on June 18th, 1873 of casting an illegal ballot.  It wasn’t until August of 1920 that women were finally granted the right to vote with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Core Principles:

We the New Jersey Tea Parties United, a coalition of public citizens’ groups throughout the State of New Jersey, are dedicated to supporting the principles within our foundational documents and public policy that adheres to those principles, including but not limited to the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that are expressed in the forms of personal responsibility, individual liberty, limited government and free markets.  Insofar as all Americans must live within their financial means, so must our government and we further believe that those means must not exceed the bounds enumerated within our Constitution.

    SMALL BUSINESSES UNITE!!!

Do you own a small business? Boycott the IRS with others like you!!!!!!

The deficit spending in Washington must stop.

We don’t need new reform (spending) until they fix the mess and balance the budget. They can’t jail us all!!!!!

Stop paying taxes. They’ll get the message. Even if they throw us in jail, which they cannot afford, they still won’t get our tax revenue.

Stand up for what you believe. We want our social security benefits that we contributed to for life! They spent our money and wrote rubber checks in the form of Treasury Bonds to reimburse our retirement fund!!!

What did they spend our retirement $$ on?

Acorn? Stimulus bills? Bombing the moon?

Join our Illinois group to boycott the IRS. We can get the change we want.

“my only wish was that I had more than just one life to give to our cause”

    Sound familiar?

    Taxation without representation must end!!!
